Seventh Amendment of the Constitution of India
The Seventh Amendment of the Constitution of India, officially known as The Constitution (Seventh Amendment) Act, 1956 made numerous amendments to the Indian Constitution in order to implement the scheme of reorganisation of States. It came into effect on 1 November 1956 along with the States Reorganisation Act, 1956.
