Shlomo Pines

Shlomo Pines (; Hebrew: שלמה פינס; 5 August 1908 – 9 January 1990) was an Israeli scholar of Jewish and Islamic philosophy, best known for his English translation of Maimonides' Guide of the Perplexed. == Biography == Pines was born in Charenton-le-Pont near Paris, and grew up in Paris, Riga, Arkhangelsk, London and Berlin.
