The Siddhar (Tamil (romanized) cittar; from Sanskrit siddha) in Tamil tradition is a perfected individual who has attained spiritual powers called siddhi. Historically, Siddhar also refers to the people who were early-age wandering adepts that dominated ancient Tamil teaching and philosophy.
