Anti-Chinese sentiment or Sinophobia is prejudice, hatred, hostility, and discrimination that is directed towards Chinese people or Chinese culture. It is frequently directed at Chinese minorities which live outside Greater China and it involves immigration, nationalism, political ideologies, disparity of wealth, in-group loyalty, the past tributary system of Imperial China, majority-minority relations, war and imperialist legacies, and racism.
