Solidarity (Ireland)
Solidarity (Irish: Dlúthpháirtíocht – na sóisialaigh), also styled Solidarity – the Socialist Alternative after its slogan, is a Trotskyist political party in Ireland, active in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The party in its current form was established in March 2026, when the Socialist Party (founded in 1996) formally merged with Solidarity (Irish: Neart le Chéile), its long-standing electoral vehicle, which had been launched in 2014 as the Anti-Austerity Alliance (AAA) and renamed Solidarity in 2017.
