Socialist Republic of the Union of Burma

The Socialist Republic of the Union of Burma was a socialist country from 1974 to 1988, under the leadership of Ne Win, among other leaders, and the Burma Socialist Programme Party. However, Burma was also a military dictatorship, under the control Ne Win from 1962 to 1988.
