Sofia Goggia
Sofia Goggia (Italian pronunciation: [soˈfiːa ˈɡɔddʒa]; born 15 November 1992) is an Italian World Cup alpine ski racer who competes in all disciplines and specialises in the speed events of downhill and super-G. She is a three-time Olympic downhill medalist – gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics, the first one for an Italian woman – and four-time World Cup downhill title winner (2018, 2021–2023). == Career == With only four career starts in giant slalom (and no finishes) in her World Cup career, Goggia was named to the Italian women's team for the 2013 World Championships in Schladming, Austria.
