Subah of Lahore
The Subah of Lahore (Persian: صوبه لاهور, romanized: Sūbah-yi-Lāhor) was a subah (province) of the Mughal Empire in the Punjab region, encompassing the northern, central and eastern Punjab. It was created as one of the twelve original Mughal subahs under the administrative reforms carried out by Akbar in 1580.
