Suicide among LGBTQ people

Research has found that attempted suicide rates and suicidal ideation among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people are significantly higher than among the general population. This disparity in suicide attempts and ideation can be attributed to several factors.
