Super-Kamiokande

Super-Kamiokande (Japanese: スーパーカミオカンデ, Hepburn: Sūpā Kamiokande; abbreviation of Super-Kamioka Neutrino Detection Experiment, also abbreviated to Super-K or SK) is a neutrino observatory located under Mount Ikeno near the city of Hida, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by the Institute for Cosmic Ray Research of University of Tokyo, with the help of an international team.
