Swanscombe Cement Works, historically known as White’s Cement Works, was a cement manufacturing site on the Swanscombe Peninsula in Kent, England, operating from 1825 to 1990. It was one of the largest cement plants in the United Kingdom during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, was the principal employer in the local area under John Bazley White.
