Tahtacı

Tahtacı (Turkish: Tahtacılar, lit. 'woodworkers') are a subgroup of ethnic Turkish people living mainly in the forested areas of Aegean and Mediterranean regions of Turkey. Historically engaged in woodworking since the Ottoman period, they trace their origins to the Üçok Turkomans.
