Taiwanese Army on Phú Quốc Island
The Taiwanese Army on Phú Quốc Island, also known as the Futai Army or Futai Corps, is an anachronistic term referring to a group of troops of the Republic of China under the leadership of Nationalist General Huang Chieh that retreated from Guangxi to the French-associated State of Vietnam. In the rhetoric of the People's Republic of China and Democratic Republic of Vietnam, they are called the remnants of Chiang's Bandit Army invading Vietnam.
