Tangata Tiriti (or tangata tiriti) is a Māori-language phrase used in English, particularly in New Zealand. It generally means a non-Māori in New Zealand, or 'people of the Treaty', in reference to the Treaty of Waitangi (Māori: Te Tiriti o Waitangi).
