Targeted killing by Israel
Targeted killing (Hebrew: סיכול ממוקד, romanized: sikul memukad, lit. 'focused foiling'), or assassination is a tactic that the government of Israel has used during the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, the Iran–Israel proxy conflict, and other conflicts. When carrying out targeted killings, the Israeli government refers to these operations as “eliminations”.
