Texas Band of Yaqui Indians

The Texas Band of Yaqui Indians, also known as the Texas Yorimea Band of Yaqui Indians (TBYI), is a Yaqui tribe headquartered in Lubbock, Texas. The tribe traces its ancestry to Yaqui (Yoeme) people who migrated from Sonora, Mexico, to Texas during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
