The Little Mermaid (franchise)

The Little Mermaid is an American media franchise created by The Walt Disney Company based on "The Little Mermaid", written by Danish poet Hans Christian Andersen. The success of the 1989 animated film led to a sequel, a prequel, a television series, a musical, several video games, theme park attractions, and other merchandise.
