The Entombment (Giordano)

“The Entombment” is a painting created by the Italian Baroque artist Luca Giordano around 1650–1653. Originally an altarpiece, the painting depicts a scene from the New Testament in which Jesus Christ is laid to rest in his tomb after his crucifixion.
