The Thomson EF9365-66 is a type of Graphic Display Processor (GDP) by Thomson-EFCIS. It was designed (1976-1978) by Philippe Matherat, then a student at the École normale supérieure in Paris. The chip could draw at 1 million pixels per second, which was relatively advanced for the time of its release (1980).
