Tienen Mithraeum

The Tienen Mithraeum is a Mithraic temple constructed in the Belgian municipality of Tienen in the third century CE. == History == The rise of the Cult of Mithras was the temple's most active time in the Roman Empire during the 1st century. The ruins were not discovered until 1998 through excavation of the site labeled, Grijpenveld.
