Tigres UANL
Club Tigres de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, simply known as Tigres UANL or Tigres, is a Mexican professional football club based in San Nicolás de los Garza, a municipality in the Monterrey metropolitan area, Nuevo León. The club competes in Liga MX, the top division of Mexican football, and plays its home matches at Estadio Universitario de la UANL. Founded in 1960 as Club Deportivo Universitario de Nuevo León, the club represents the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) and adopted its current name in 1967.
