Torne Valley (Finnish: Tornionlaakso, Torniojokilaakso; Swedish: Tornedalen), Torne River Valley or sometimes Meänmaa (Meänkieli for 'Our Land'), lies at the border of Sweden and Finland. It is named after the Torne River flowing through the valley and into the Gulf of Bothnia.
