Tottenham Hotspur F.C. in European football
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club became the first English and British club to win a major European, UEFA-regulated competition, with their win against Atlético Madrid in the final of the 1962–63 European Cup Winners' Cup. In 1972, they won the inaugural UEFA Cup – beating fellow English club Wolverhampton Wanderers in the final – and won the competition again in 1984 and 2025, the latter after it was renamed into the UEFA Europa League.
