Traffic collisions in India

Traffic collisions in India are a major source of deaths, injuries and property damage every year. The National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) 2021 report states that there were 155,622 fatalities, the highest level since 2014, out of which 69,240 deaths were due to two-wheelers.
