Treatment of mental disorders
Mental disorders are classified as psychological conditions marked primarily by sufficient disorganization of personality, mind, and emotions to seriously impair the normal psychological and often social functioning of the individual. The DSM-5-TR defines mental disorders as syndromes arising from dysfunction in relevant biopsychosocial processes that results in significant disturbances in behavioral responses, emotional regulation, and other cognitive processes.
