Trois crayons

Trois crayons (French: [tʁwɑ kʁɛjɔ̃]; French for 'three pencils') is a drawing technique using three colors of chalk: red (sanguine), black (charcoal or black stone), and white. The paper used may be a mid-tone such as grey, blue, or tan.
