Tropical Storm Penha

Tropical Storm Penha, known in the Philippines as Tropical Storm Basyang, was a weak but costly early-season tropical cyclone that affected portions of Luzon, including Mimaropa and Masbate, as well as large parts of Visayas and Mindanao in early February 2026. It is the second named storm of the 2026 Pacific typhoon season and the first tropical cyclone to form in the month of February since Tropical Storm Dujuan in 2021.
