Two Bombs, One Satellite (Chinese: 两弹一星; pinyin: liǎng dàn, yī xīng) is a retronym for the early nuclear weapon, ballistic missile, and artificial satellite development of the People's Republic of China, coined by the Chinese government in 1999. The term was part of a political rehabilitation effort.
