Typhoon Bebinca, known in the Philippines as Severe Tropical Storm Ferdie, was a strong and moderately long-lived tropical cyclone that affected East China, Guam, Philippines and the Ryukyu Islands in mid-September 2024. Bebinca became the strongest typhoon to hit Shanghai since Typhoon Gloria in 1949 and the first typhoon to do so since Typhoon Muifa of 2022.
