2013 Pacific typhoon season

The 2013 Pacific typhoon season was a record-breaking and catastrophic season that was the most active since 2004, and the deadliest since 1991. Most of the season's fatalities came from Typhoon Haiyan, one of the most powerful storms in history, as well as one of the strongest to make landfall on record.
