Typhoon Sinlaku (2026)
Typhoon Sinlaku was an extremely powerful and long-lived tropical cyclone that affected the Mariana Islands in mid-April 2026, causing widespread damage on the island of Saipan. It is the strongest tropical cyclone in the Northern Hemisphere to form in April since Typhoon Surigae in 2021, as well as the strongest worldwide in 2026 so far.
