United States Secretary of State

The United States secretary of state (SecState) is a member of the executive branch of the federal government of the United States and the head of the U.S. Department of State, equivalent to a minister of foreign affairs. The secretary of state serves as the principal advisor to the president of the United States on all foreign affairs matters.
