United States security assistance to the Palestinian National Authority

The United States began providing security assistance to the Palestinian Authority (PA) in the mid-1990s, and actively did so through the 2000s. After the Oslo Accords formed the PA, the U.S. gave aid on an ad hoc basis, often covertly at the outset.
