Starting in 2016, players for the United States women's national soccer team (USWNT) have engaged in a series of legal actions against the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). These legal actions allege an unequal treatment and compensation of the USWNT, as compared to the U.S. men's national soccer team (USMNT).
