University of Medical Sciences and Technology terrorist cell

In 2015, a terrorist cell active at the University of Medical Sciences and Technology (UMST) in Sudan, was responsible for the recruitment of mostly British students and recent graduates, to join the Islamic State (IS) in various locations including Libya and Syria. At least 26 people made attempts to join IS, including several sibling pairs.
