In the University of Southern California athletics scandal, the University of Southern California (USC) was investigated and punished for NCAA rules violations in the Trojan football, men's basketball and women's tennis programs. The sanctions were announced on June 10, 2010, and affected the USC football program from 2010 to 2012.
