Upper Hungary (Hungarian: Felvidék, "Upland"), is the area that was historically the northern part of the Kingdom of Hungary, now mostly present-day Slovakia. The region has also been called Felső-Magyarország (literally: "Upper Hungary"; Slovak: Horné Maďarsko).
