Urumi (drum)
The urumi (Tamil: உறுமி மேளம், Uṟumi Mēḷam; also known as urumee) is a double-headed hourglass drum from the state of Tamil Nadu, South India. Two skin heads are attached to a single hollow, often intricately carved wooden shell.
