Worlds Collide is a professional wrestling event series co-produced by WWE, an American-based professional wrestling promotion, and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), a Mexican-based subsidiary of WWE. The event was first established as When Worlds Collide in 1994 as a co-production of AAA and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). WWE purchased WCW in 2001, acquiring the rights to When Worlds Collide.
