Wakhi language
Wakhi (ښیکوار, Х̆икв̆ор, romanized: X̌ikwor, pronounced [xikwɔr]) is an Eastern Iranic language within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family, spoken primarily by the Wakhi people native to the Wakhan District of northern Afghanistan, as well as neighboring areas of Pakistan, Tajikistan, and China. == Classification and distribution == Wakhi is one of several languages that belong to the areal Pamir language group.
