William Clapham

Colonel William Clapham (1722 – 28 May 1763) was an American military officer who served in Father Le Loutre's War and the French and Indian War. Clapham was considered a competent commander in engagements with French troops and Native American warriors, but towards the end of his military career he was unpopular with the soldiers under his command.
