Women's suffrage in Connecticut

Women's suffrage efforts in Connecticut began in the 1860s. Frances Ellen Burr was a very important early suffragist who worked with John Hooker and Isabella Beecher Hooker to create the Connecticut Woman Suffrage Association (CWSA).
