The original World Trade Center, which featured the landmark Twin Towers (1 WTC and 2 WTC), was a building complex in the Financial District in Lower Manhattan, New York City. 1 and 2 World Trade Center – the North and South Tower – stood at 417 and 415 meters (1,368 and 1,362 feet) with 110-stories respectively, becoming the tallest buildings in the world from 1971 to 1973.
