World War II reparations

After World War II, both the Federal Republic and the Democratic Republic of Germany were obliged to pay war reparations to the Allied governments, according to the Potsdam Conference. Italian, Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian and Finnish reparations were determined in the Paris Peace Treaties.
