Yalova Peninsula massacres
The Yalova Peninsula massacres (Turkish: Yalova katliamı, lit. 'Yalova massacre') were a series of massacres during 1920–1921, the majority of which occurred during March – May 1921. They were committed by local Greek, Armenian and Circassian bands, "assisted by drunken and undisciplined Greek troops", against the Muslim Turkish population of the Yalova Peninsula.
