The Young Pioneers of China, often shortened to Young Pioneers or Red Pioneers, is a mass youth organization of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for youth between the ages of 6 and 14, run by the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC). After its foundation in 1921, the CCP ran various other youth movements in communist-held areas.
