The Ovinnik (Russian: Овинник), Joŭnik or Jovnik (Belarusian: Ёўнік) is a malevolent spirit of the threshing house in Slavic folklore whose name derived from ovin 'barn'. He is prone to burning down the threshing houses by setting fire to the grain.
