Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant crisis

At the beginning of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, during the Battle of Enerhodar on 4 March 2022, Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, was attacked and occupied by Russian forces. It was the first full-scale military attack and occupation of an operational nuclear power plant in history.
