Second impeachment of Sara Duterte

On February 2, 2026, renewed efforts began to impeach Sara Duterte for a second time as Vice President of the Philippines, following her earlier impeachment by the House of Representatives on February 5, 2025. The earlier proceedings transmitted the articles of impeachment to the Senate for trial.
