Tertomotide

Tertomotide (GV1001, EARPALLTSRLRFIPK) is a 16-amino acid peptide based on the 616‑626 position fragment of human telomerase reverse transcriptase protein (hTERT). It was originally developed as a possible subunit vaccine for various types of cancer, as it can trigger immune attack against cancer cells which overexpress telomerase, a common mutation found in malignant tumors.
